THANKSGIVING IDEAS

Print this poem on a pretty card or layout and give it attached to a Pumpkin Scented
candle for a gift this time of year. Makes a great hostess gift for your Thanksgiving
Dinner if you're going to another person's house!

Harvest Time at Home
When the pumpkin pie is cooling
and it's spicey scent is drifting,
may that cozy, comfty feeling be especially uplifting ...

When the table looks its best
and the turkey's in the oven,
may you have heaping blessings
of hugs and family lovin'!

May this pumpkin scented candle
light your way
to a heavenly harvest of blessings!

Here's a cute poem for a baggie filled with jelly beans:

Colors of Thanksgiving

Orange is a pumpkin.
Yellow is the corn.
Brown is the turkey
With stuffing to adorn.
Red are the cranberries.
Green are the beans.
Five delicious colors
In a feast of my dreams.

Thanksgiving Dinner Table Favor:

Corn
Wrap up 5 pieces of corn (or candy corn) in netting.
Print out the following verse on paper,
cut to size and attach to wrapped corn.
Tie with ribbon and put at each place setting at
Thanksgiving dinner.

The first kernel reminds us of the autumn beauty around us.
The second kernel reminds us of our love for each other.
The third kernel reminds us of God's love and care for us.
The fourth kernel reminds us of our friends.
The fifth kernel reminds us we are free people.

*I have made this with colored popcorn kernels.
