CREATING CHRISTMAS FREEBIE #23

This is a tag template I made in 2004 and used to make
a tag to attach to all these wonderful bath products that
are for sale right now at so many stores. You can attach
this to a Bath Fizzie or a bottle of bubble bath. You can
make an entire bath basket to attach it to... There are
lots of options for this from Stocking Stuffer to large gift.

Zip file includes the PNG and JPG files.

CREATING CHRISTMAS FREEBIE #22

This is a recipe card project I did several years ago for
a friend of mine. The images I used are ones I was given
over various yahoo groups sharing PSP tubes or off the
net at royalty free sites. I have no idea who to give credit
to for any of them; this is shared with no intentions of
claiming them as my own or making a profit from them.
The template is my own.

The finished cards are 100PPI.
The height is 4.7" with the tab.
The width is 5.990"

The zip file you will download includes both the
finished layouts as well as the templates.
There are also JPG and PNG files in the zip.

I made this template after I saw at the scrapbook stores
many different kinds of rings that this can be put on.
I would suggest printing and laminating everything; punch
the holes where indicated so they all line up; and then use
whatever rings suits your colors or style.

*NOTE: Not all is shown in the preview.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

CHRISTMAS SCRAPPING LAYOUT FREEBIE

This was created using a challenge from:

December 2009 Recycle Bin Challenge at Divine Digital Forums

Penni Taylor
GallimaufryUK

BLOG
STORE

The challenge was to take grey scale images with a specific color pallette and apply effects and colorization to the elements and then put them together into some sort of project. I came up with this scrapbook page layout. This was a fun challenge!

THANK YOU PENNI!

CREATING CHRISTMAS FREEBIE ... WOW!

SNOWMAN SOUP
GREETING CARD GIFT

This is the 200th FREEBIE on the

CREATING CHRISTMAS BLOG!

What a warm wonderful feeling to know that
so many artists have shared so many wonderful
creations for everyone!

Now on to this freebie from me...
which is #17 from me.

It is a Half-Fold Greeting Card at 300dpi.
The zip file has the PNG and JPG files plus the
visuals and preview. Then the individual
links are for the JPG ONLY for each page.
So you have a choice on what is best for you
to download. ALL of the digi elements used
are created by Paulette at CREATE WITH TLC.
I used popdots to attach the word art inside,
as well as the mitten on top of the spoon.
The marshmallows in the baggie around the spoon
are snowman shaped and I found those at Walmart
for about a buck a bag... SO CUTE! And they
taste good too! hehehehe

HAVE FUN!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

ADVENT CALENDAR

This idea was shared on a blog called

SIMPLY SARAH

I wrote and asked for her permission to share
her post with my readers. This is the introduction
to her post with the link following to go to her
blog to see how it is all carried out:

I’m so excited about the Advent Calendar the kids and I have been working on. I grew up with an Advent Calendar as a part of our Christmas celebration. We eagerly opened each door to find the candy behind it. We’d read the Advent devotionals, light the advent wreath/candles each Sunday, excitedly anticipating Christmas Day and Jesus Birth.

This year I wanted to find a way to combine all of those traditions and point to the Savior each day. I didn’t care so much about the chocolate – I wanted something else to be “hidden” behind each door. I wanted the kids to seek Jesus. He is, after all, the reason for the season.

So this is the result of my quest to create the “perfect” Advent calendar.
I hope you enjoy it! And I’d LOVE to hear about your Advent traditions.

To create the “scene” for my Advent calendar,
I purchased a miniature Christmas tree (or will purchase one).

Under the Christmas tree, I placed 25 folded paper boxes (directions for how to make these are listed below). I numbered each box 1 through 25. So box 1 would be open on December 1st, and so on. Now I do realize that Advent traditionally begins on the 4th Sunday before Christmas, but for simplicity sake, and so that we can reuse this from year to year,
we’re doing it 25 days of December.

THANK YOU Sarah for letting me share it here!
MERRY CHRISTMAS

CREATING CHRISTMAS FREEBIE #16

I made the template for this favor box
back in 2005. It really makes up for a
cute favor cup/box at a place setting
for each person at the dinner, or to just
have set in various places with small
candies in them. You can also use as
a small container hold a small gift
that you've wrapped in tissue or other
wrapping paper to give to someone.
One more idea is as an ornament with
something special placed inside...

Merry Christmas!

THANKS TO EVERYONE

I just wanted to take a moment to THANK
everyone that is taking time to leave me
notes and send holiday cheer! I really do
appreciate each and every one of them!

I haven't figured out how to successfully
return comments because most times I am
not able to find an email for the author of
each comment... so this is the best way for
me to remember my manners and say

THANK YOU

to each and every one of you!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
