Valentine's Day topper

~Happy February to everyone!~

Such wonderful happy things to think
about and plan for February 14th!

Here is a topper I put together using elements
from Paulette at the Create with TLC blog.

The single image is an 8.5 x 11" image.
The one with four makes four toppers to
use on top of baggies you put treats into.

Here's to ROMANCE!

POEM to attach to a Heart Shaped Gift

Your little touches of love
Your kind words and deeds
And your simple kind smile
Give my heart what it needs
To transform my soul
To a dazzling light.
You make my Heart Sparkle
With pure joy and delight.
*attach to a heart necklace, earrings, ring, key chain,
ornament, review mirror hanging heart,
ANYTHING designed around a heart shape....

God's Boxes
I have in my hands two boxes,
Which God gave me to hold.
He said, 'Put all your sorrows in the black box,
And all your joys in the gold.'
I heeded His words, and in the two boxes,
Both my joys and sorrows I stored,
But though the gold became heavier each day,
The black was as light as before.
With curiosity, I opened the black,
I wanted to find out why,
And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole,
Which my sorrows had fallen out by.
I showed the hole to God, and mused,
'I wonder where my sorrows could be!'
He smiled a gentle smile and said,
'My child, they're all here with me..'
I asked God, why He gave me the boxes,
Why the gold and the black with the hole?
'My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings,
The black is for you to let go'

Create with TLC January Digi Club 2014 is where I got the wordart from.
The "cuddle" digistamp is from her January 2016 Club.
The other elements are from my stash or I created them.
The template is my own.  This is a 5x7 greeting card.

My husband is a musician.  He plays the Theatre Pipe Organ and tours all over the world performing concerts.  So when Paulette from CREATE WITH TLC shared some images in her JANUARY DIGI CLUB that said "I LOVE YOUR ARMS AROUND ME", I knew I could put it together for a card for my husband.  Currently he is in Seattle and next week we are traveling to Sarasota, FL.  I have made a commitment for 2016 to add little reminders of my love into his suitcase while he travels.  So this card will be printed and hidden between items in his suitcase for Valentine's Day.

You are the Honey in My Tea

Paulette over at
has created a new approach to her CLUB options.
Check it out HERE...

You will regret it if you don't at least check it out!  She is always more than generous with her CLUB GOODIES and you get a far greater deal than you pay for!

One of the first goodies I received was the paper element on this card. In past clubs I received the girl digistamp from her.  I also got the word art from her.  I always have fun playing with the elements received through her clubs as well as the freebies from her blog.  It always sparks the creative juices!

Here is what I made with my efforts yesterday.  Please visit her and share some love with Paulette!  She gives so much and deserves lots of gratitude!

This is a 4 x 6 inch greeting card.
Just save it to your own computer to print at your convenience.

If you'd like to save it to use in the future,
just open it in a new window and
save it to your computer by right clicking and then SAVE AS.

Happy Creating!

this can be a service project, gift for charity, gift for family or friend...

Spread a little joy around you. A JOY JAR, which holds a daily inspirational message, will keep giving and giving!

Type 365 or 31 inspirational messages, depending on if you want your JOY JAR to last for a full year or a full month. These can be Scripture verses, inspirational thoughts, or smile provokers. You can find these on inspirational calendars, topical books, joke books, or make up your own. Print these on different colored sheets of paper, then cut into strips. Fold each strip into a small piece with the message inside. Place in a decorated glass jar. Attach a note that says:

It is hoped this JOY JAR will help you start each day with a spiritual boost, and inspirational thought, or a smile. As the year/month progresses, may your days be bright and full of JOY.

Give this to secret pals, shut-ins, special friends, or anyone you can use a boost each day.

*I love this idea... I am reposting this from my post in June of 2009...  What a great idea this is and so inspirational and uplifting!!!

St Patrick's Day Stationery Printable

Here is another St. Patrick's Day printable.
I am going to use the wordart seal as the seal to the back of the notecard and the small shamrock seal as an element inside of the card attached with a glue dot and then write my letter around it.

Word art is from Paulette at Create with TLC.

Template and Layout is by myself.

Shamrock fill is from the www.

Good ole fashioned letter writing has taken a backseat to the technology world.  I really believe a hand written note of thanks, greeting, invitation, etc is appreciated and personal.  Let's bring back the hand written notes!
