Layouts to share

I've been wanting to share some of my layouts that I've finished but have not made time to share here yet. So, what better time than at 6:00AM when everyone else is still in bed and the craziness of a school morning has not started yet! This first one is of my cousin Bill and my Grandpa. It is taken in Canada by Bill's cabin.
Credits for this layout are:

This next layout is of our daughters after we celebrated their birthdays this month!

The final layout is of our very dear family friends in Illinois. We got to spend several days visiting with them in July when we were up there on vacation.

Credits: The butterfly frame is from a kit called Butterfly Fairy Kit by Nova Slozka. The rest of the elements are in a kit called Kiss Me by Gypsy Chick at www.scrapartist.com.

I've Been Tagged!

I was tagged back in July while I was out of town. I am so late in getting back to Andrea on this one. I am so very sorry for that!!!!! I appreciate the comments she gave on her blog about me (see her archives for July 6, 2008 ... http://thepaperpurse.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html )
THANK YOU, Andrea! You can find her blog here:

4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Something more about myself:
1~ I was bit by a dog last weekend and have spent this whole past week not able to use my left hand for much of anything. Doc finally released me today to use it more, but not to get it soaking wet. That means I still can't do dishes and the pool routine yet! UGH! But it is healing and there is no infection! THANK GOD FOR THAT!
2~ I am so thankful that school has started again and that our youngest is enjoying middle school so far!
3~ I am thankful that we survived the Tropical Storm Fay that blew thru here with only a broken car window that needed fixing. But we are saying prayers in earnest for those in northern Florida for all the flooding!
4~ I was finally able to get back into wearing contacts! I LOVE THAT!
5~ I love reading and am currently reading the book: The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch wiht Jeffrey Zaslow. What an amazing man Randy was!
6~ I collect cookbooks. Not old valuable ones, but ones I can use for my family's meals or for parties. I have a huge cabinet full of cookbooks so you'd think I'd cook more than I do. But I am also working on making a Family Cookbook to hopefully be done next year.
7~ I love the Fall time of year! Cooler weather and warm colors!

this is an example of what you can do with the framed post-it holder templates that I just shared...

Use your imagination and go wild. You can insert word art instead of a photo, or maybe just something like "Don't Forget" or "HOMEWORK" or something for the inside of the lockers.

These are great for lockers, refrigerators, car glove boxes, etc. Use a magnet or velcro on the back to make it stick to whatever kind of surface you'd want.

HAVE FUN! RhondaSue

SCHOOL STARTS SOON!

We've had a busy, busy summer, but we are all looking forward to school starting this fall! Our youngest is starting in Middle School and is excited! I was so afraid she would be apprehensive, but she is a go-getter and really can't wait!! She is going to be in band and learn how to play the clarinet so that is helping with her excitement too! I am looking forward to getting to know her teachers and being able to volunteer and help out when needed.
In honor of school starting, I thought I'd look through my templates and share whatever can be used for BACK TO SCHOOL. I might even be able to get into the swing of things and make some new templates this week. That would awesome! I also have lots of Back To School ideas to share with you as time allows.

BIRTHDAY TEMPLATES

In honor of both of our daughters' birthdays this month, I am going to share my new birthday theme templates. I don't recall sharing these any where at all yet... so these should be new for most of you... I hope you like them and can use them for your own celebrations...

HUGS TO YOU ALL

SMUGGLES TO ALL
RhondaSue

PS...SMUGGLES is Smiles and Hugs bundled together!

I'M BACK and IT WAS GREAT!

We are back home from our month long "adventure". I sure had a great time! Planning and preparing and helping wherever I could was such an honor! My Grandparents are the best people and such a blessing to be with! After I get pictures back, I'll share some tidbits about the whole event!

I've been tagged by Katie and I have never been tagged before. I will figure out what to do this afternoon and get it all posted by tonight! Thank you Katie!!

It is time to get back into routine again; so I am on my way out to the pool for a morning swim which I haven't been able to do since June 27th! Then I need to catch up on mail/bills/emails/etc. And I will be posting again to my blog with more goodies in the next few days!

Thank you for stickin' with me while I was away! I look forward to more sharing and visiting again!

HUGS TO EVERYONE
