Valentine Fudge

Valentine Fudge

1 1/2 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
1 jar marshmallow creme
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup halved maraschino cherries

Microwave margarine in bowl or casserole dish until melted.
Add sugar and
milk, mix well. Micro on high for 3 minutes,
stir, 3 minutes again, stir, 3
minutes again, stir,
3 minutes again, stir. That's a total of 12 minutes.

Stir in chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients.
Pour into 13 x 9 or 9 x 9 pan
which has been buttered.
Cool at room temperature then cut into squares or

hearts shapes using a heavy duty cookie cutter.
